Formed in 2000 by insurance agents to meet the needs of insurance agents, InsuranceNoodle is a web-enabled wholesaler of commercial property and casualty insurance products from the nation’s leading insurance companies. InsuranceNoodle offers commercial insurance products for over 1,650 types of business in 49 states and Washington, DC. InsuranceNoodle was acquired by Willis Group Holdings Limited in June 2007.
Agents who use the InsuranceNoodle system get access to a broad range of products from multiple carriers using a single application data entry system. This is backed up with support from a state-of-the-art service center staffed by licensed insurance agents who work with technology and the carriers to place risks and to provide servicing of in-force accounts.
As an e-aggregator, InsuranceNoodle is the silent partner in the agent’s relationship with the small business owner; the producing agent retains control of the client relationship at all times.

Management Team
Our management team members, on average, have more than 20 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industries.
Kathryn Emmerson, Chief Executive Officer
Kathy is responsible for day-to-day operations and developing major client and insurer relationships. She has more than 30 years of insurance brokerage experience as a former Executive Vice President of Aon Risk Services and a Senior Vice President of Marsh specializing in major client relationships, marketing and agency management.
Andrew Wood, Executive Vice President
Andy is responsible for customer service operations and marketing. He is a former Vice President of Business Development at CNA Life, where he was responsible for e-commerce partnerships. Andy also served as a senior manager at Andersen Consulting.
